From 3 to 6 hours, depending on the type of procedure.
All surgeries carry a risk, however, our medical team is trained to reduce complications as much as possible, or, if any arise, to treat them efficiently.
Most patients will spend the first week after discharge at home, ideally with family or friends who may be able to help with healing and activities. Driving should not be done for two to three weeks. In addition, no excessive exercise or activity should be done for six weeks. This is to prevent complications such as delayed wound healing.
Usually by the sixth week, you can begin to stop using compression garments or tapes on the manipulated areas.
There is no pain during the procedure due to the medications used for anesthesia.
After surgery, the pain is non-existent to tolerable, thanks to the different painkillers that your doctor will prescribe you.
